Recycled                Doggies

Recycled Doggies
Recycled Doggies is an all-foster canine rescue based in Cincinnati.  The founders were volunteers at a
rural Kentucky shelter where they learned about abandoned shelter dogs and how amazing they are.  They
decided to start Recycled Doggies to help those animals find loving, forever homes.  The dogs are pulled
from a death row facility where they may not be putting  their best paw forward.  They  are cleaned up and
vetted (vaccinated, spayed/neutered, etc), socialized, and then introduced to potential adopters.
Volunteers allow the dogs to live in their homes where they learn to be good pets.   Recycled Doggies is
an all-volunteer non-profit organization so all donations are tax-deductible. Donations are used to pay for
vet bills and other expenses.

animals with loving care and shelter until they are able to match them with their new home.  They promote
responsible pet ownership through public education and spay/neuter programs.  They are a privately

The Cincinnati Pet Food Pantry
The Cincinnati Pet Food Pantry is a program run by Recycled Doggies.  The mission of the Pantry is to
keep pets with their families and prevent them from being surrendered to local  kill shelters, turned loose,
or otherwise given up because a pet guardian is unable to afford their food.  Giving up a family pet to
make sure it is has food and is healthy is a very traumatic experience for both the humans and the animal.
Fortunately,  many families no longer have to make the choice to feed themselves or their pets because of
the Cincinnati Pet Food Pantry,  They provide temporary food assistance to pet guardians who are
currently unable to afford it.   The Pantry provides dog and cat food, cat litter, and a limited supply of food
for other pets (guinea pigs, gerbils, birds).
